Campsite and Tipi Reservations

You must have a username and password to rent a tipi or campsite.

If you have done any business with our organization (registered for a class, bought a facility pass, reserved a birthday party, etc.), you already have a household/account and a username and password.

If you try to create a household/account, and the system indicates that your address, phone number, email, etc., already exists in the system, it means you already have a household/account in the system. Please contact 303-425-1097 for assistance.

Standley Lake offers camping and tipi rentals by reservation only. There are seventy (70) camp sites available for reservation and six (6) tipis. The main campground accommodates campers, trailers and tents. The park offers two permanent restroom facilities with outdoor showers and drinking water as well as a four-lane boat ramp located near the main campground. All campsites have fire pits and picnic tables.

Public camping is available May 1 through Sept. 29 except for holiday weekends, which are only available to season permit holders.

There are no hookups and no dump station available. Please camp only in designated sites and display your camping pass on your campsite post at all times.

Refunds: Full refunds will be given for camping and tipi reservations canceled by 1 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, three full days (72 hours) prior to the first date of your reservation. No refunds will be given after this time. You must contact the Standley Lake Nature Center if you wish to cancel a reservation. Refunds will not be given once a site is occupied. Refunds will not be given for weather, insects, family emergencies, changes in travel plans or violations of park rules.

General Rules and Regulations

*Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance of your desired check in date.
*No Alcohol - Standley Lake is a no-alcohol park.
*Glass bottles are strictly prohibited.
*Check in time is 1:30 p.m.
*Check out time is 1 p.m. on your departure date.
*Any site that has been vacated at any time during the reservation period will result in the termination of the reservation.
*Any site that has been reserved must be occupied by 8:00 p.m. on the reservation start date. If the site is not occupied by this time, the site will be released and the reservation will be terminated.

Tipi Rental Information

Tipi rental fee is $45 per night.

The Bear Lodge, Eagle Lodge, Elk Lodge, Buffalo Lodge, Starhorse Lodge and Deer Lodge are available for reservation May 1 - Sept. 29. Each tipi is equipped with one double cot and two single cots, a personal fire pit and picnic table. A large community fire pit and charcoal grill are also available.

* Credit card is required.
* Check out time is 1:00pm.
* Check in time is 1:30pm or anytime thereafter.
* 4 adults, max, allowed per tipi.
* No smoking, cooking, candles, incense or any open flames inside tipi.
* No generators, radios or sound producing devices allowed in the tipi village.
* No additional tents allowed within the tipi village.
* Groups may rent all six tipis at a discounted rate (special use permit required).

Campsite Rental Information

Daily Camping ($22) - Single-night camping in designated sites only.

*Only one (1) reservation per household is allowed at a time.
*Pets are welcome, but they are not permitted in the water at any time and must remain on a leash.
*No camping is allowed October 1st through April 30th.
*Overnight camping is allowed only in designated areas.
*Camping units MUST remain on campsite pads at all times. Sites are marked with boundary rocks and/or wooden boards. Do not move or rearrange these boundary markers. Any camping units parked outside these boundaries will be required to move.
*Only one (1) camping unit and two (2) tents are allowed per camp site. Additional vehicles must be parked in over-flow parking areas.
*Campsite(s) may only be used for up to 14 days in a 30 day period. Camping units need to be removed from park for 24 hours after any campsite(s) have been occupied for 14 consecutive days.
*Camping units must be occupied each evening in order to remain in park.
*Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 6:00am. All generators, music, radios or other loud noises that may disturb the peace are not permitted during these hours.
*Generator noise cannot exceed 60dB.
*Fires are allowed only in provided fire pits. Fires must be attended at all times or completely extinguished. Fires must have a 5 gallon container of water or a fire extinguisher in proximity.
*Campers are responsible for removing all belongings (firewood, carpets, grills, chairs, etc.) from the campsite when vacating site. Any belongings left will be taken by Park Staff and the camper will be cited for Littering.
*No day use passes will be sold after 8 p.m. No Exceptions.
*The main gates to the park are closed at 10 p.m. If you know you will be coming in after this time, you must contact the gate house staff before to 10 p.m. at 303-425-1097 so they can inform overnight staff.
